PANEL SESSION

A Panel Session will be held on Tuesday 26 June 2012 after the presentation of papers.  Senior plantation executives will serve as panelists.

EXHIBITION (Download the attachment to register)
An Agricultural Exhibition including the latest innovation available for use in the plantation industry will be held at the Conference venue.  The exhibits will be on display on 25 & 26 June 2012.

CONFERENCE DINNER
A dinner will be held at the Berjaya Times Square Hotel on Monday, 25 June 2012.

POST CONFERENCE TOUR
A Post Conference tour will be organized on 27 June 2012.

FEES

RM800 per participant for members (early bird) up to 30 April 2012.
RM1,000 per participant (from 1 May 2012).
RM1,200 per participant for non-members (early bird) up to 30 April 2012.
RM1,400 per participant for non-members ( from 1 May 2012) For bulk bookings of more than 20 participants, 10% discount.

DINNER
RM150 per person for registered participant/guest/spouse.
RM2,000 per Corporate Tables per table of 10.
RM5,000 per VIP Tables per table of 8.

POST CONFERENCE TOURS

There is a choice of three (3) field tours on Wednesday, 27 June 2012.  Participants will be accepted on a first-come, first served  basis due to limited seats and for Conference participants only.  The tour fee includes lunch and transport.  Participants ARE NOT ALLOWED to use their own vehicles for the tours.

United Plantation Berhad’s core business is in the cultivation and processing of oil palms and coconuts. The Group comprises 12 estates located in and around the Lower Perak District with a total area of 40,000 hectares.

Unitec Plantation Berhad ‘s Research Department(UPRD) located in Jenderata Estate, is an integral componebt of the group with a fully equipped commercial analytical laboratory for soil, leaf, fertilisers, water and feedstuff; tissue culture laboratory for oil palm and bananas; molecular laboratory and seed production facilities for oil palm and coconuts.  The Department’s activities are applied research, advisory services and production of planting materials of oil palm, coconut and bananas and production of organic fertilizers and tea tree oil.

MYAGRI’s Bio-manufacturing Facility, Nilai

Myagri was incorporated as a start-up company in 1996 to commercialize Arbuscular Myccorhizal Fungi discovered at a university in Malaysia. It has developed into a group of biotechnology companies promoting microbial based Green Biosciences Technologies and Solutions for Agricultural and Environmental Sector.

The visit will showcase their Microbiology Production Facility and Plant Organ Culture that will provide crucial understanding of Microbiology based products in the Plantation Industry.
